Weddings are very special to me for a number of reasons. To list a couple, It is really hard to be unhappy or uninspired when you spend so many of your days surrounded by people who are literally experiencing one of the happiest and most special days of their lives. I just love, love. And really, who doesn't? It is such a special thing that I honestly believe everyone deserves to experience. To give and receive true love is one of the most incredible experiences and I would argue should be the 8th wonder of the world ;)

But really, Weddings are so special because love is all around. Its in the way you and your partner look at each other, the way your bridesmaids watch you in awe as you get ready, the way the groomsmen have your back and make sure to fix your tie before walking down the aisle. Its in the family disfunction, and the way your loved ones come from near and far or watch from above. Its a highly emotional experience for everyone involved and I believe that's the way it should be. There are more than plenty of not so good things out there in the world, therefore to gather in the name of love may be my favorite form of rebellion. I don't know if you can tell, but I am for sure a hopeless romantic lol. - All that being said, I believe with my whole heart that wedding photos are so much more than a box to check off on the planning list. My approach to weddings is incredibly personal because your love is incredibly personal. Therefore your photos should reflect that. I want you to be able to look back at your wedding photos in a couple decades and be taken back to the way those moments actually felt. - photos that feel. that's what I do.
